I had the previous Adventure sport and now I have the new 1100L. No regrets. Mine has heated grips which are very handy this time of year. It has a lot more tech as you know and in my opinion it rides a lot better than the 1000. The suspension is better but I haven't tried the ES version I would Pioneer 1000-5.
